Our Simple Merry Christmas

While most of the people I know spend their Christmas in a fancy way like having a fancy christmas set up that I can only see in an American Christmas movies at the comfort of their beautiful homes, or eating at an expensive restaurants, or some may even travel out of town or abroad, we? We celebrate christmas the same as usual, every year.

I grew up in a simple living kind of family. My parents may not always afford to buy us what we want but they will always give us what we need. So for my twenty nine years of existence, we always celebrate christmas in an unglamorous way. We eat, sing, open the gifts, sleep. Nothing fancy. Nothing over the top kind of party.

Some may find it boring, but I always look forward to it every year. The holiday season brings a lot of childhood memories and I can't help but to walk down memory lane. It's the time of the year that I am allowed to feel like a child again. You know, just spending time with your loved ones, eating, chatting, and resting up like I don't have adulting problems.
