My trip to Malaysia with my brother was one of the impulsive decision I've ever made. I just felt excited at that time, it would be my first time to go to Malaysia and my first time to go abroad. But why Malaysia? We had a pretty good deal for the airfare as well as the hotel accommodation so why not Malaysia right? Besides, my brother has been there during his On-The-Job Training, and keeps on telling us his experience staying in the country so I want to experience it by myself too.

We arrived in Kuala Lumpur International Airport morning of June 28, 2018. I can't believe that I was miles away from the Philippines. The whole thing felt surreal. And I apologize in advance if I will not be able to remember the name of some places, aside from the fact that I am telling a story from two years ago, my brother handled everything, he was like my tour guide during the trip 😅 And i was just the tourist, in the most literal meaning of that word. 😁

So going back, we rode a train from the airport. It costs us 50MYR for each of us.

We stayed at D'Oriental Inn Hotel located at the 'chinatown' of Kuala Lumpur. We only paid 2,000php for 4 days and 3 nights of stay. I love the location because it was just so near to restaurants and to stores that are selling goodies and souvenirs.

We decided to buy some souvenirs on the first day so we have plenty of time to choose what we like. And I think it's a good idea to buy some stuff for your loved ones back home on the first day of your trip so you will not miss anyone on your list. 😉

We also went to Suria KLCC just to roam around and do some window shopping (that was the plan) but I end up buying a set of NYX Lipcream. Girl, it was on sale! Who would not be tempted? 😅🤷

On the second day, we went to Batu Caves and roam around the KL Central at night wherein we ate one of my favorite food in the world -- Shawarma!

We went to KL Central Market to buy additional 'pasalubong' on the third day. It was nice to be walking around along the streets. It was Saturday then and Saturday is like a Sunday for Malaysian people. Some of the establishment were closed for the day.

We also roam around Dataran Merdeka and Kuala Lumpur Gallery. I was also able to eat the Nasi Goreng USA, courtesy by my brother since he really wants me to try Malaysian food.

On our last day in Kuala Lumpur, few hours before we fly back home, we went back to Suria KLCC, and walk around at KL Forest Ecopark just to kill the time.

I did enjoy my stay in Kuala Lumpur. It was such an amazing feeling to be able to experience the life in Malayasia that my brother keeps on telling us even just for a few days. Malaysian people were very nice, well this is just from my personal observation, they are very disciplined and corteous. The country is a bit conservative so please take considerations on what you're going to wear when you go and visit the place.

We are planning to go back, I still don't know when, in God's time, but I will surely be back. ❤️
